Fresh from siring brilliant two year-old filly Seabrook to win the Group I ATC Champagne Stakes at Randwick on Saturday, Hinchinbrook quickly added another juvenile winner to his tally when Hinchrider bolted in at Ballarat on Sunday.

Trained by Archie Alexander, he was having his first run since finishing down the track behind top colt Written By in the Group III MRC Blue Diamond Prelude.

He must have shown connections good ability before contesting that race and confirmed his potential today with a facile victory.

Hinchrider led all the way for Jordan Childs and won the 1200 metre maiden by seven lengths.
