Formerly prepared in Tasmania, Too Many Reds has been thriving in the Queensland sunshine and scored a short neck win in the open handicap over 1200 metres as a well backed favourite.

Bought privately from the paddock at Yarraman Park by Joe O’Neill of Prime Thoroughbreds as a weanling, Too Many Reds has been a terrific money-spinner for his owners winning 10 races from 30 starts and more than $274,855 in prizemoney.

Too Many Reds is from the Rubiton mare Red Centre, a daughter of stakes-placed Land of Dreams.

Red Centre has a yearling filly by Magic Albert and produced a colt foal by the same sire last month.
