Sydney, September 26 – A homebred for Yarraman Park, two year-old Fastnet Rock filly Dejavu Rock looks to have her share of ability after winning her first official trial at Warwick Farm last Friday.

Raced by the Yarraman Park Stud Syndicate and trained on the track by Michael Wallace, Dejavu Rock took the 800 metre trial by three parts of a length in 47.7 seconds.

Dejavu Rock is a half-sister to stakes-placed Top Slice and Bull Market being from the handy producer Deja Slew (USA), who provided Yarraman with one of their greatest highlights in the sale ring when her colt by Redoute’s Choice topped the 2006 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.

Knocked down to Charles Laird for $3million, the colt was exported to South Africa and later won a race under the name of Nodoubt Deja.
