Perth, April 2 – The Group III WATC Sires Produce Stakes at Ascot on Saturday was won in fine style by Flying Spur filly Bliss Street, a $100,000 purchase from the Yarraman draft at the 2010 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, her yearling half-sister to be offered this week at the Inglis Easter Sale.

Prepared by Dan Morton, Bliss Street finished third in the Listed WATC Gimcrack Stakes and then broke her maiden last start so was in top form for this tougher assignment.

She raced just off the leaders and accelerated in the straight to win the 1400 metre contest by two lengths, her overall record two wins and two thirds from five starts with prizemoney of $160,896.

Bliss Street (pictured as a yearling) was purchased by her trainer Danny Morton for $100,000 and runs for a syndicate that includes Geisel Park Pty Ltd and Yarraman Park, who retained a share in the filly.

Bliss Street is the first stakes-winner for the stakes winning mare Jade Diva, whose current yearling, a filly by Fastnet Rock will be offered by Yarraman as Lot 294 at the upcoming Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
