The official Sydney 2YO trials will be run on the Kensington track next Monday commencing at 9.15 am with 14 heats over 850 metres.

Yarraman Park’s champion sire I Am Invincible is the most represented sire with 10 entries followed by Snitzel and Exceed and Excel with six entries each.

Trained by Brad Widdup, he is the first foal of Group I MRC Thousand Guineas winner Commanding Jewel, a three-quarter sister to the freakishly good Group I winner Atlantic Jewel.

Also sold for seven figures was the half-brother by I Am Invincible to Group I ATC Golden Slipper winner Mossfun, a colt called Invincible Vision that was bought by A Bott / G Waterhouse / Blue Sky Bloodstock (FBAA) for $1,050,000 from the Fairview Park draft at Inglis Easter.
