Gold Coast, May 29 – Classy stakes-winning filly Bliss Street was a hit in the sale ring at the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale on Tuesday selling for $450,000 to the bid of James Bester Bloodstock.

A three year-old filly by Flying Spur from Jade Diva, Bliss Street was bred by Yarraman in partnership and offered for sale as a yearling by Yarraman Park fetching $100,000 at Magic Millions in 2010 when snaffled by WA based trainer Dan Morton.

Yarraman retained a small share in the ownership, which proved a good decision as Bliss Street went on to win five races and more than $380,000 in prizemoney with highlight wins in the Group III MRC Guineas Prelude and Group III WATC Sires Produce Stakes.

Bliss Street is a three-quarter sister to this season’s juvenile stakes-winner Jade Marauder and is from stakes-winner Jade Diva, who is still at Yarraman Park.

Jade Diva has a weanling colt by Wanted and is due to foal to Hinchinbrook this spring.

Yarraman Park also enjoyed a good result with Group II winning mare Champagne Harmony, who was in foal to More Than Ready (USA) and consigned on behalf of Breeding Capital Australia. She made $700,000 to the bid of bloodstock agent Steve Brem.
