Sydney, April 11 – Yarraman Park kicked off the 2007 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with some good results during the first session highlighted by a superb Encosta de Lago filly from Desert End (USA) that made $700,000.
Knocked down to Woodlands Stud, she was their most expensive filly purchase of the session and is the fourth foal of stakes-placed Desert End (USA), who comes from the family of champion American mare Desert Vixen.
Yarraman also posted a great result with the Redoute’s Choice colt from stakes-winner All The Rave, which made $650,000 to the bid of Asian Bloodstock Services.
The colt was a successful pinhook for Yarraman having been purchased as a weanling at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale for $340,000.
Yarraman Park are currently the third leading vendor by average at the end of the first day having sold three at an average of $486,667.
