Reigning champion sire I Am Invincible dominated proceedings at the 2023 Magic Millions Yearling Book 1 with 44 of his stock generating a total aggregate of $32,390,000 at an average price of $736,136.
His average was up significantly from last year at this sale when he had 44 yearlings sell at an average $541,591.
An I Am Invincible colt from Group II winning Fastnet Rock mare Anaheed set a new Magic Millions record when making $2.7 million for Segenhoe Stud and purchased by Tom Magnier, while his top-priced filly (pictured below) from Group III winner Flippant made $2 million for Yarraman Park when bought by US investors Tammy and Richard Rigney.
I Am Invincible sired seven of the 20 yearlings that sold for $1million or more and a further 21 that sold for $500,000 or more.

Yarraman Park enjoyed 100% clearance at the sale selling all 25 of the yearlings we offered for $11,955,000 at an average $478,200.
I Am Invincible’s promising sire son Hellbent also had a strong sale with 100% clearance as 15 of his yearlings averaged $200,000 with a joint top price of $300,000 for a colt from Hoss Amor and a filly from Like a Butterfly.
Both were offered by Yarraman Park, the colt from Hoss Amor going to Gollan Racing / John Foote Bloodstock and the filly from Like a Butterfly to Mystery Downs.
