Cranbourne, August 18 – The Lee Freedman trained gelding Here de Angels scored on debut at Cranbourne last Friday proving a great result for popular Victorian syndicators Slade Bloodstock, who purchased the three-year old from the draft of Yarraman Park Stud at the 2005 Magic Millions Yearling Sale.
Here De Angels started 10/9 favourite and ran accordingly in blitzing his rivals to take the 1000 metre maiden by four lengths.
Entered for races such as the Caulfield Guineas and Victoria Derby, he looks to have a bright future and should be worth every penny of his $90,000 purchase price.
Here de Angels is by Dehere (USA) from the Kenmare (Fr) mare Angelic Belle, whose dam Gift of Wings is a half-sister to former star mare La Caissiere, the dam of dual Group One winner Dashing Eagle.
