Adelaide, April 29 – Leading trainer David Hayes produced yet another slick juvenile winner when first starter Blondewithattitude posted an easy victory at Morphettville on Saturday.
Sent out favourite in the 1100 metre restricted event for fillies, Blondewithattitude settled in third position before accelerating to score a comfortable length and a half win.
A $25,000 purchase from the 2006 Magic Millions Yearling Sale in Adelaide, Blondwithattitude is by Golden Slipper winner Catbird from the Group Three winning New Zealand bred mare Victoire (NZ), a daughter of the Marscay horse Paris Opera.
Blondewithattitude becomes the seventh individual two year-old winner this season for Catbird placing him equal with a number of other sires all sharing the lead with seven juvenile winners apiece.
Catbird’s fee for this year has been set at an affordable $22,000, representing great value for a horse with rock solid commercial credentials to enhance his proven record for producing quality winners.
