Hellbent has been enjoying a winning run over the summer and added two new winners to his tally at Kilmore on Tuesday, both of them prepared by Lindsay Park Racing.

Three year-old filly Regal Visions got the cash in the third race at her first run back from a spell and then well related filly Hell’s Diamond stepped out as a red hot favourite on debut in the 1207m maiden.

Ridden by Daniel Stackhouse, Hell’s Diamond have punters an anxious watch when she got cluttered up on the fence and held up for a run, but when she finally got clear it was game over.

Hell’s Diamond surged away to win by two and a half lengths in an encouraging performance.

A $210,000 Magic Millions purchase for Lindsay Park Racing from Yarraman Park, Hell’s Diamond is the first winner for well bred Al Maher mare Diamond Pedrille, a placed sister to Group I winner Diamond Drille, stakes-winner M’Lady Pedrille and half-sister to stakes-winner Madame Pedrille.

This is the same female family tracing back to Sister Pedrille that produced Hellbent’s champion sire I Am Invincible, so Hell’s Diamond is line bred to Sister Pedrille 5 x 3.
