Champion sire I Am Invincible has some special 2YO’s running this season with a Group I winning colt in New Zealand in Seize the Day and brilliant filly Chayan, who sold for a jaw dropping $5.6million at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale and he added a new juvenile winner to the tally on Saturday.

The autumn Gosford standalone meeting has been the launching pad to success for Bjorn Baker trained stars such as Overpass and Green Spaces and he produced another bright prospect at the venue on Saturday.

Sixth on debut at Randwick last month behind highly regarded filly Bangkok Hottie, I Am Dirty took benefit out of that experience and given a good ride by Rachel King made light work of the 1200m juvenile contest.

She went forward to sit outside the leader and kicked away to win by a couple of lengths.

“We’ll just have a bit of a think about what we do now, maybe we go one more, or possibly put her out,” said Bjorn Baker.

“I’ve always had a really good opinion of her, and it’s important to win these two-year-old races, especially a Saturday race and now we’re underway.

“I think she’s going to go into better things. It’s just a matter of when.”

A $600,000 Magic Millions purchase from Ridgmont for Bjorn Baker Racing/Clarke Bloodstock Pty Ltd, I Am Dirty is the first foal from fast Group III winning So You Think mare Dirty Thoughts, who comes from the family of $1.9million earning multiple Group winning stayer Grey Song.

Newgate as agent for Ridgmont sold a yearling full sister to I Am Dirty at Magic Millions this year for $300,000 to Equine Growth Fund/SP Bloodstock/Blueblood Thoroughbreds/Ciaron Maher Bloodstock.

Dirty Thoughts had a colt last spring by Zoustar and is now in foal to The Autumn Sun.
