Perth, May 15 – Magic Albert featured in Perth on Wednesday when his two year-old filly Admirable scored a stylish debut win at Belmont.
Prepared by leading trainer George Daly, Admirable settled midfield and finished off strongly to win the 1000 metre open juvenile event by the best part of a length.
Bred and retained to race by the Daly family, Admirable is the first foal of metropolitan juvenile winner Starglow Express, a half-sister by Danewin to stakes-placed performers Emerald Green and Suicide Blonde from the family of Golden Slipper winner Century Miss.
Admirable is one of 35 winners this season for Magic Albert, who continues to be a great source of winners highlighted by slick sprinter Al Be Nimble, who is nominated for the Listed STC Civic Stakes at Rosehill this Saturday.
