Sydney, September 14 – Gai Waterhouse has any number of progressive horses in the stable at present and Danehill Dancer (IRE) gelding Lorne Dancer can be added to the list following his facile four length victory at Rosehill on Saturday.

Second throughout before sweeping to the lead in the straight, Lorne Dancer made light work of his 58kg impost, careering away to win as he pleased in the Ratings 81 event over 2000 metres.

A $70,000 purchase from the Yarraman Park draft at the 2006 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Lorne Dancer has now won four races and placed four times from 10 starts earning $122,620.

Bred at Yarraman Park, Lorne Dancer is from stakes-placed Seattle Dancer (USA) mare Fabled, who produced a Foreplay colt last spring and is due to foal to Magic Albert.
