Gold Coast, January 12 – The 2010 Magic Millions Yearling Sale -Sessions One to Five – has now concluded with Yarraman Park selling 28 horses for $2,000,500 to a wide range of purchasers including leading Victorian trainer Danny O’Brien, who snapped up our top seller, a colt by Fastnet Rock from Twisted Heart for $200,000.
The progeny of Magic Albert were a feature of the Yarraman draft this year selling for up to $110,000 for a filly from stakes-placed Mi Chiamo that was bought by Ingham Racing.
Also popular a beautiful bay filly from Carlton Ace secured by astute Randwick trainer Grahame Begg for $100,000.
During Sessions One to Four, Magic Albert had 11 yearlings sell averaging $62,500, a return of nearly four times his 2007 service fee of $16,500, so a most profitable outcome for his supporters.
We wish all purchasers of Yarraman consigned the very best of luck with their new acquisitions and thank them for their support.
