Melbourne, June 15 – Joe O’Neill’s Prime Thoroughbreds have just enjoyed another winning weekend with three year-old Beautiful Crown (USA) filly Believe ‘n Achieve now the most winning three year-old in Australia this season following her dominant victory at Moonee Valley on Monday.

The Mark Kavanagh trained filly has won seven of 11 starts this preparation after making an unplaced debut at Morphettville on August 5.

She has now won three of her last four starts including back-to-back wins at Moonee Valley, her prizemoney tallying $147,388 for her lucky group of owners.

“When Believe ‘N Achieve scored a terrific win at Moonee Valley on Monday she became the winner of the most races in Australia this season by a three year old,” said Joe O’Neill.

“She has scored seven wins and she leads Denman, Love Conquers all and Graceful Anna with six wins.”

Not a bad effort for a filly purchased for a modest sum as a weanling out of the paddock at Yarraman Park, where she was foaled and raised.

Believe ‘n Achieve is the first foal of metropolitan winner Mal de Mer, who comes from the family of dual Group One winner Chief de Beers.

She has been a regular visitor to the Yarraman sires and has yearling and weanling colts by Foreplay and was covered by Magic Albert last spring.
