Brisbane, November 11 – Breaking his maiden at his second start in Brisbane on Wednesday was four year-old gelding Flash the Rock, who scored a last stride victory at Eagle Farm.

Trained by Brad Herne, Flash the Rock had no luck when fifth on debut after he reared at the start and his saddle slipped, so his connections would be well pleased to see things go right at start number two.

A $90,000 purchase from the Yarraman draft at the 2008 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, Flash the Rock is by Rock of Gibraltar (IRE) from the stakes-winner Flashed.

Yarraman Park will have another outstanding draft of youngsters for Magic Millions 2011.
