Sydney, April 19 – The top priced mare during the Select Session of the 2012 Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare Sale was Asmahan, who fetched $200,000 to the bid of Colm Santry Bloodstock and was offered in foal to Magic Albert.
By champion sire Zabeel, Asmahan was consigned for sale by Willow Park Stud and is a half-sister to Group III winner She Rules from Group I New Zealand Oaks winner She’s Country.
Magic Albert has been enjoying a tremendous season, both on the track and in the sale ring, his service fee for 2012 increased to $22,000 as a result of his achievements.
