A big holiday crowd meeting at Moruya on Monday was highlighted by a competitive $20,00 Moruya Town Plate which was won by promising Magic Albert gelding Jacakaizane, who has many more wins in store.

Prepared on the track by Linda Bundy, four year-old Jacakaizane won the Narooma Town Plate at the same course at start the start of the month and was even more impressive taking out this 1435 metre feature by more than three lengths as favourite.

Retained to race after passing in at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, Jacakaizane has won five of 10 starts earning over $54,000 in prizemoney and will be worth keeping an eye on when he comes to town for a suitable race.

He is one of four winners from four to race from Gorgeous Dancer, a metropolitan winning Grand Lodge (USA) mare from an imported family.

Magic Albert has big representation at the upcoming 2015 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale on February 8, 9 and 10 with 22 yearlings catalogued. Click here to see them.
