Scoring her second win at Doomben on Wednesday was lightly raced Northern Meteor filly Max it Out, a modest $60,000 Magic Millions purchase for Magic Bloodstock from the draft of Yarraman Park.

An easy maiden winner at the same venue on New Year’s Day, the Tony Gollan trained filly looked good again beating older rivals to win the Class Three event over 1350 metres by more than a length as favourite.

Initially prepared by Chris Waller, but transferred to Brisbane after five unsuccessful trials, Max It Out seems to have blossomed in the warmer weather and more wins would appear to be in store.

Bred by Yarraman Park and partners, Max It Out is the second winner for Group III winner Is Amazing, a talented Laranto mare from the family of Group I VRC Victoria Derby winner Preferment.

Is Amazing has a colt foal by Nicconi and was covered last year by I am Invincible.
