The Paul Perry trained gelding Cosmic Energy ended a frustrating run of minor placings to break his maiden over 1200 metres, while in the very next race the Kris Lees trained Moment of Music scored her fourth win from 10 starts. Cosmic Energy was an $85,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the draft of Holbrook Thoroughbreds, while Moment of Music was snapped up for just $30,000 from the Rosemont Stud draft at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale. Hinchinbrook has had 16 winners of $1.2 million this season headed by his Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas winning colt Press Statement. He has 21 entries for Magic Millions in January and 26 for Inglis Classic.
