I Am Invincible enjoyed some good results at Morphettville on Saturday with two new stakes performers in Comprende and I Am Gypsy as well as a very promising winner in Viddora. Trained by Lloyd Kennewell, three year-old filly Viddora did a good job to beat spring stakes-winner Miss Gunpowder by the best part of a length over 1050 metres. She’s won four of nine starts earning over $140,000 and will no doubt chase Black Type over the Adelaide Carnival. Finishing second to Viddora when she won at Morphettville last September was Comprende, who earned Black Type of her own with a dead heat second in the Listed SAJC Laelia Stakes over 1600 metres. A sibling to Group III winners Excites Zelady and Zelady’s Night Out as well as Magic Millions Fillies and Mares winner I Am Zelady, Comprende is starting to hit her straps in the longer races. Also gaining some valuable Black Type was four year-old mare I am Gypsy who was narrowly beaten in the Listed SAJC Manihi Classic and has won over $160,000 in prizemoney.
