Yarraman Park’s red hot sire I Am Invincible had the quinella in the first event at Sandown on Wednesday with the Darby Racing owned filly Invictum Domina defeating I’ll Decide, both fillies sporting the brand of Yarraman Park. Trained by David Hayes and Tom Dabernig, Invictum Domina was rewarded for her recent consistent form when proving too good by a length and a quarter over I’ll decide in the 1400 metre contest. It was her second win from six starts with three minor placings and prizemoney in excess of $42,000. A $70,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Jorson Farm draft for Darby Racing, Invictum Domina was a successful pinhook for Jorson Farm who bought her from the Yarraman draft at the Inglis Select Weanling Sale for just $8,000. She is the first winner for Simpley Delightful, a minor winner by Foreplay from the family of US Group II winners Sapphire ‘n Silk and Shaniko.
