Yarraman Park had plenty of reason to cheer the success of Al Be Nimble at Rosehill last Saturday as not only is he by their sire Magic Albert, but his dam Nimble (IRE) is now a permanent resident at the stud.
A four year-old gelding prepared by Gwenda Markwell, Al Be Nimble looks a very good horse in the making after racking up three wins and three seconds from just eight starts, prompting Yarraman to purchase his dam Nimble (IRE) in partnership with Magic Albert’s owner Denis Wilton.
An Irish bred daughter of champion sire Danehill, Nimble (IRE) was a minor winner in Italy at 1600 metres and was also fourth in the a Listed event for fillies in England at Newbury.
She comes from a prolific Black Type European family and Al Be Nimble is her only foal to race.
Naturally, Nimble (IRE) was covered this spring by Magic Albert and is safely in foal!
