Brisbane, November 12 – Magic Albert five year-old Albert Cadabra has been racing in great heart this preparation and found his way back to the winner’s circle again at Doomben on Wednesday when taking out the Class Four event over 1350 metres.
Trained by Lawrie Mayfield-Smith, Albert Cadabra raced handily throughout and fought on well to score by a long neck as a popular favourite.
From the Bletchingly mare Our Rosalind, Albert Cadabra has won five races and placed five times from 21 starts earning more than $46,000 in prizemoney.
Magic Albert is the sire of some 23 winners this season and his best and largest crop of yearlings to date will be on offer at yearling sales in 2009.
