Just a day after posting his tenth winner, Yarraman Park’s Hellbent has delivered an 11th and this one bolted in by four and a half lengths at Wyong on Tuesday.

The Mark Minervini trained colt Fire and Ice was having his first run back from a spell following an initial campaign where he finished fourth on debut at Randwick before contesting the $2million Inglis Millennium and the Group II ATC Skyline Stakes.

Tuned up with two recent trials, Fire and Ice was sent out favourite for the 1000m juvenile maiden with Hugh Bowman on board and thrashed his rivals to win as he pleased.

An $80,000 Inglis Classic purchase for his trainer from the Kitchwin Hills draft, Fire and Ice was bred by Kitchwin Hills and is the first foal of Cersei, an unraced half-sister by All Too Hard to Group I placed Reemah from Group II winner Vormista.

Hellbent has the pedal to the metal as we move to the end of the season with 11 winners to his tally, seven of them this month!

A Group I winning son of I Am Invincible, Hellbent stands at a fee of $22,000.
