Brisbane, May 24 – A dominant last start winner of the Group II BRC Champagne Stakes, classy I Am Invincible colt Brazen Beau lost no admirers when charging home for a close second in the Group II BRC Sires Produce Stakes at Doomben on Saturday.

The Chris Waller trained colt was beaten a neck by Time for War in the 1350 metre feature, but retains favouritism for the upcoming Group I BRC JJ Atkins Classic over 1600 metres on June 7.

A $70,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the draft of Murrulla Stud for Ontrack Thoroughbreds, Brazen Beau runs for a big group of owners, who are entitled to be feeling very optimistic about his future.

Brazen Beau has already won nearly $200,000 from two wins and a second from just four starts.
