Kembla, September 13 – Magic Albert produced an impressive debut winner at Kembla Grange last Saturday when the Gai Waterhouse trained three year-old Daintree Road blitzed his rivals to win by more than three lengths.

With handy recent barrier trial form, Daintree Road was sent out favourite and did the job in good style taking the 1200 metre maiden as he pleased for owner breeder Mrs Yvonne Smith.

Foaled and raised at Yarraman, Daintree Road is the first foal of the Fasliyev (USA) mare Sunset Boulevard, who returned to Magic Albert in 2007 so has a yearling full sister in the pipeline to Daintree Road.

Daintree Road is one of 10 winners for Magic Albert this season, the son of Zeditave set to cover a terrific book of mares this spring at the value fee of $13,750.
