Sydney, January 22 – Demand for the progeny of Yarraman Park based sires was strong at the 2014 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in Sydney with yearlings by I Am Invincible, Hinchinbrook and Magic Albert all proving popular.
The most represented sire at the sale, I Am Invincible had 19 yearlings sell at an average of $48,474 with his top seller a colt from Laughter that made $100,000 for Middlebrook Valley Lodge when purchased by Murray Livestock.
The first yearlings by Hinchinbrook continued to impress, his best result coming from a colt from Cloud Buster that made $85,000 for Holbrook Thoroughbreds when secured by Paul Perry.
Always a favourite at the Classic Sale, Magic Albert enjoyed good results, his top seller a colt from Star Logie that made $84,000 for Fairview Park Stud when secured by John Foote Bloodstock.
