The 2017 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale proved a resounding success for Yarraman Park with 100% clearance resulting in our 19 yearlings all being sold for a total of $1,891,500. We finished as the leading vendor by aggregate with an I Am Invincible colt from Amber’s Waltz delivering our best result when fetching $240,000 to the bid of Carmel Size. Not far behind was an I Am Invincible colt from Best Choice that made $220,000 when bought by Toby Edmonds, who won the 2017 Magic Millions 2YO Classic with I Am Invincible filly Houtzen. We congratulate all purchasers and wish them the very best of luck going forward. I am Invincible contributed a whopping $4,015,000 towards the record breaking sale aggregate, his 27 yearlings averaging $148,704. He provided the most expensive filly at this sale when the Tyreel Stud consigned filly from Family Crest was knocked down to Boomer Bloodstock / Murray Thoroughbreds for $360,000. Hinchinbrook also had a strong sale with 18 yearlings averaging $78,417, his best result coming with a filly from Rose Tinted that made $190,000 for Sledmere Stud when bought by Snowden Racing.
