A new addition at Yarraman Park this spring, Brave Smash (Jpn) sired a Hong Kong winner with his first runner in the region when three year-old colt Super Legends made a winning debut at Sha Tin on Sunday.
Trained by Danny Shum, Super Legends had a good education at the trials and after settling back in the field was angled into the clear and hit the line hard to win the 1200m sprint by a neck.

Super Legends was a $200,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Lustre Lodge draft for Golden River Investments / All Winners Thoroughbreds and was a very successful pinhook having been bought originally for $35,000 from the Bhima Thoroughbreds draft at the Magic Millions Weanlign Sale by Coolarest Farm/Salvador Bloodstock.
Super Legends is the first winner for Devil’s Harmony (NZ), a winning Pentire (GB) mare from the family of Group I New Zealand Oaks winner Vapour Trail.
Devil’s Harmony was one of 89 mares covered last spring by Brave Smash, who stands at Yarraman at a fee of $33,000.
