Yarraman Park’s promising young sire Hinchinbrook featured at Canberra on Friday when two year old filly Thorsborne (pictured above as a yearling) scored a debut win for a happy crew of Dynamic Syndications owners.
Prepared by Gerald Ryan, Thorsborne was ridden to the lead and fought on with great determination to win the 1000 metre scamper by a neck.
A $70,000 Magic Millions purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park, Thorsborne is the second winner for metropolitan winning Tale of the Cat (USA) mare Maltese, a half-sister to stakes-winner Jesterella Boy from stakes-winner Marwell Lady.
Thorsborne is the third winner for Hinchinbrook, whose smart filly Moment of Music will tackle the $250,000 Inglis Premier race at Sandown on Saturday for the Kris Lees stable.
A three-quarter brother by Fastnet Rock to Snitzel, Hinchinbrook has a big draft of 17 yearlings to sell at Inglis Classic starting on Sunday. Click here to see the pedigrees.
