Gold Coast, June 1 – Yarraman Park enjoyed good results at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale selling 17 youngsters for an aggregate of $795,000 with the best result achieved by an Exceed and Excel filly from Gypsy Soul (NZ) that made $235,000.
Knocked down to West Australian based Michael Flannery Bloodstock, the classy bay filly is a half-sister to Group One MRC Caulfield Guineas winner Econsul.
Sadly she is the last foal produced by Gypsy Soul (NZ), who died in 2006.
Other good results were a filly from the first crop of Darley shuttler Tiger Hill (IRE) from Unshooda (GB) that made $85,000 and a Catbird filly from Plash that fetched $81,000 and was the top seller for her Golden Slipper winning sire.
Catbird had a very solid sale with four youngsters averaging $55,750.
