Melbourne, March 4 – Yarraman Park took six youngsters to Melbourne for the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and despite the market downturn managed to sell all of them with a filly by Exceed and Excel the top seller at $150,000.

From the well-related mare Patagonia, a half-sister to stakes-winners Loving Cup, Laudemio and Vintage Dance, this stylish filly was snapped up by Patinack Farm and will make a lovely addition to the quality collection of fillies and mares they are acquiring.

The Commands colt from proven stakes producer Cantinela also proved popular fetching $140,000 to the bid of Victorian Bloodstock Agency, while a striking grey Stratum filly from Chalkboard also went the way of Patinack Farm when secured for $130,000.

Magic Albert had just the one youngster on show a colt from Snippet’s Dancer that was a three-quarter brother-in-blood to Group Two AJC Villiers Stakes winner Something Anything.

He attracted plenty of interest and made $80,000 when knocked down to astute country trainer Robert Price.
