Hong Kong – With five Singapore winners from six runners, it was only a matter of time before I Am Invincible cracked it for a winner in Hong Kong, which he did with his first runner up there on Sunday. Four year-old gelding Team Fortune showed ability in several trials last season and kicked off his career with a comfortable victory in the 1000 metre Class Four event. He won by more than a length in a brisk 56.22 seconds as favourite with Joao Moreira in the saddle. Team Fortune was a modest $15,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the Manx Park draft for Aquanita / Price Racing and is the third winner for Lucky Beauty, a winning Peintre Celebre (USA) mare from the family of Group III winner Torezal. Lucky Beauty has a yearling filly by I Am Invincible to follow that will no doubt make a lot more than $15,000!
