Gold Coast, January 11 – First season sire Foreplay created a splash at the 2009 Magic Millions Yearling Sale with his filly from World Guide (NZ) fetching $140,000 to the bid of Denise Martin’s Star Thoroughbreds.
Consigned for sale by Murrulla Stud, the dashing bay is a half-sister to dual Group One winner Sirmione, a winner of $1.6 million in prizemoney with career highlights in the VRC Australian Cup and L.K.S Mackinnon Stakes.
Foreplay had four yearlings average $60,625 during the first four sessions of Magic Millions and is set to be a force at the Inglis Classic Yearling Sale where he has 11 yearlings catalogued for sale.
