Adelaide, March 10 – The Group Three SAJC CMA Recycling Stakes was won at Morphettville on Monday in devastating fashion by slick sprinter Here de Angels, a $90,000 purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park Stud at the 2005 Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

Let rip from barrier one by Craig Newitt, the son of Dehere (USA) led throughout to score a dominant three and a half length win with Flying Object and Terango doing best of the rest in second and third place.

The win was a sparkling return to form for Here de Angles who drew the outside gate last start when down the track behind Weekend Hussler in the Group One MRC Oakleigh Plate.

Here de Angels was purchased by Victorian syndicators Slade Bloodstock and has proven a great investment for his large group of owners winning eight races from 13 starts and earning prizemoney of $371,650.

The fourth foal and first stakes-winner for the Kenmare (Fr) mare Angelic Belle, Here De Angels was bred by Lisa Randle and sold privately to Yarraman as a foal.

His dam was a minor winner at 1400 metres, but does come from the family of Group One winner Dashing Eagle and quality performers La Caissiere, Brief Embrace and Ken’s Joy.

Yarraman Park will be offering an outstanding draft of 22 yearlings at Magic Millions this year with all photos and pedigrees now available for viewing here.

Included is the three-quarter brother to last year’s top priced filly at Magic Millions, Viennese, who gained further Black Type at Morphettville on Monday when third in the Listed SAJC Pewsey Vale Stakes.

By Redoute’s Choice from outstanding producer Snippets’ Lass, Viennese is a full sister to Group One winner Snitzel and fetched $1.4 million to the bid of Darley. Her yearling three-quarter brother by Fastnet Rock will be offered as Lot 299.
