Hong Kong, October 29 – Scoring an impressive debut win at Sha Tin in Hong Kong on Sunday was the Danny Shum trained gelding Little Cow, a $240,000 purchase for Magus Equine from the Yarraman Park draft at the 2010 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale.

A four year-old son of Holy Roman Emperor (IRE), Little Cow led throughout from a wide gate to win the 1200 metre sprint by four and a quarter lengths with Zac Purton in the saddle.

Little Cow was bred by Rheinwood Pastoral and is a half-brother to stakes-winner Insistence being one of five winners from the good producer Opportune, who has a yearling colt by Magic Albert and produced a filly by Yarraman Park’s exciting young sire Hinchinbrook this spring.
