Melbourne, December 16 – Woodside Park owned Redoute’s Choice mare Dom Perion blitzed her rivals at Caulfield on Wednesday to score a dominant win in the Ratings 72 event for fillies and mares over 1440 metres.

The Dale Sutton trained Dom Perion seemed to turn a corner when a facile winner at Tatura at her previous run and kept up the good work in stepping up in grade to win as she pleased by three and a half lengths.

A$200,000 purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park at the 2007 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, Dom Perion is the first foal of Champagnecharlotte (USA), a half-sister by Rahy to US stakes-winners Esteemed Friend, Badouizm and Red Monsoon.

Yarraman Park have another outstanding draft of yearlings for Magic Millions featuring 33 youngsters including 13 by Yarraman Park based sire Magic Albert, who covered his best ever book of mares in 2007.
