Providing her three-time Champion Sire, I Am Invincible, with his 50th two-year-old Stakes winner, the Kia Ora-owned juvenile filly Inkaruna produced a determined win to take the G3 Chairman’s Stakes at Sandown on Saturday, 1 February.
Trained by Anthony and Sam Freedman, the filly out of Ravi (Redoute’s Choice) jumped from barrier five in the nine-horse field, she raced midpack taking on the more experienced Sword Of Legacy who was having her second start.
This win gave glimpses of Loving Gaby (Vinnie x Maastricht) who won the G3 Chariman’s Stakes on debut back in 2019, the daughter of Vinnie went on to win the G1 Manikato and G1 William Reid Stakes.
This win stakes Vinnie’s seasonal seasons over the $12 million mark with five months of the season remaining.
