On Sunday, the Danny O’Brien stable stepped out a three-year-old son of Brave Smash, Jett Smash, for his second start and he did not disapoint winning by half a length at Mornington over 1200m.

Jett Smash is from the same crop as Stakes-winning two-year-old Brave Design, also trained by Danny O’Brien.

From three limited racing crops, Brave Smash is the sire of G1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes winner Kimochi – bought by Yulong at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale for $2.2 million, and who races in their colours, having relocated to Yarraman Park in 2023 it means the coming 2026 yearling sales will see his first crop concieved from the stud who produced Group 1-producing sires I Am Invincible and Hellbent.
