Yarraman Park’s promising young sire Hinchinbrook was in the frame at Bathurst on Sunday when two year old filly Thorsborne scored a resounding win in the Gold Nugget open juvenile event for a big team of Dynamic Syndications owners.
Prepared by Gerald Ryan, Thorsborne won narrowly on debut at Canberra last month, but made a one act affair of this 1100 metre contest when dashing away to win by four lengths as a hot favourite.
A $70,000 Magic Millions purchase for Dynamic Syndications from the draft of Yarraman Park, Thorsborne is the second winner for metropolitan winning Tale of the Cat (USA) mare Maltese, a half-sister to stakes-winner Jesterella Boy from stakes-winner Marwell Lady.
Hinchinbrook is running a clear second on the Australian First Season Sires List by earnings behind ill-fated Beneteau.
