Sydney, April 12 – Magic Albert had just four yearlings offered at the 2013 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale and all were sold, his best result a colt from Spire that fetched $240,000 to be the second highest priced youngster sold during Session II.

Consigned for sale by Torryburn Stud, the half-brother (pictured) to Group III winner Under the Eiffel was sold to astute bloodstock agent John Foote on behalf of Hong Kong based investors.

Also selling well for Magic Albert was a colt from Romany Flyer that made $140,000 for Yarraman Park and was bought by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, while the full brother to Group I AJC Randwick Guineas winner Ilovethiscity fetched $120,000 to the bid of WA based trainer Adam Durrant.

Our first season sire I Am Invincible had just the two yearlings offered and both of them sold in Session II, our colt from Rivers Secret making $80,000 to the bid of Gerald Ryan, while a filly from Snippity Eve made $40,000 for Attunga Stud when bought by Tim Martin and Topline Thoroughbreds.

Magic Albert and I Am Invincible are both great value sires, the former standing at $19,250 this year and the latter at $11,000.
