The emergence of I Am Invincible and Hinchinbrook has tended to take the spotlight from our stalwart sire Magic Albert, but with seven yearlings averaging $81,429 in Book One, he’s still a great value sire for breeders.

Best result for Magic Albert was a colt from Hooness that made $160,000 for Segenhoe Thoroughbreds when bought by Danny Bougoure, while not far behind was a colt from Judicial Queen that made $110,000 for Rosari Farm when bought by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Magic Albert has a strong draft of 22 for Inglis Classic Summer Book on February 8, 9 and 10.
