Melbourne, February 22 – Resuming from an extended spell of 49 weeks, talented Exceed and Excel colt Lights On broke his maiden with an easy win at Bendigo on Sunday at his third race start.
A $500,000 purchase for Blue Sky Thoroughbreds as agent from the Yarraman Park draft at the 2007 Magic Millions Yearling Sale, Lights On is trained by Dale Sutton for Woodside Park Stud.
Bred by the Dufficy brothers, Lights On is the second foal of stakes-winning Fuji Kiseki (Jpn) mare Flashed, a daughter of another smart juvenile stakes-winner in Bright Light.
