Sydney, November 6 – Promising Magic Albert three year-old Marchinski made it back-to-back wins when he cruised home to win a Class One event over 1000 metres on Hawkesbury Gold Cup Day on Thursday.

The Tracey Bartley trained sprinter camped just off the pace and really exploded over the last furlong dashing clear for a dominant two and a half length win, his second from four starts.

Marchinski was bred by Tracey Bartley and fetched $125,000 when put through the 2007 Inglis Christmas Thoroughbred Sale at which he was the top priced offering.

Now raced by a group of ten owners, Marchinski is a half-brother to stakes-winner Shepishir being from the good producer Elishir, a half-sister to another smart stakes-winner in Spy Zaim.

Elishir has a yearling filly by Magic Albert and was covered by him again last spring.
