Brisbane, December 1 – Well-bred Commands mare Jester’s Girl scored the biggest win of her career when taking out the Listed Travel Associates Classic (1200m) at Eagle Farm on Saturday and she did so after being covered and tested positive to Magic Albert.
A homebred for Tyreel Stud’s Dean Fleming, Jester’s Girl previously had little more to her credit than a Newcastle maiden win on her résumé, so this result is a valuable one for all.
Prepared by Gerald Ryan, Jester’s Girl has now won twice and placed twice from 10 starts earning just over $95,000 in prizemoney.
She is a half-sister to stakes-placed The Comedian and is from stakes-winning Rory’s Jester mare How Funny.
