Sydney, Brisbane, October 2 – Magic Albert featured with a metropolitan double on Wednesday with First Class Ticket scoring at Canterbury and Lassila scoring at Eagle Farm.

Progressive mare First Class Ticket has been in top form this preparation for the Allan Denham stable and posted a comfortable three-quarter length win in the Benchmark 70 1550 metre event.

The five year-old has won four of her past six starts, her overall record now five wins and five placings from 16 starts with earnings topping $102,000.

First Class Ticket is one of five winners from stakes-placed Zabeel mare Abeel Hostess, a daughter of Group II winner Fickle Hostess.

The Bryan Guy trained Lassila overcame a wide gate to lead throughout and win over 1400 metres by a long head, her overall record now four wins and eight placings from 23 starts with prizemoney topping $60,000.

Magic Albert has made a great start to the season and has had six winners in the past seven days.
