Melbourne, December 20 – The Class One event for three year-olds over 1200 metres at Moonee Valley last Friday night was won in good style by the Lee Freedman trained Redoute’s Choice colt Grecian Choice, a $625,000 Magic Millions purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park.

Unlucky when second in a similar race last start, Grecian Choice made amends with an all the way win after leading throughout to score his second victory from six starts.

Raced by leading Japanese breeder Katsumi Yoshida, Grecian Choice is a full brother to smart metropolitan winner Andrology being from the Bellotto (USA) mare Aphrodite, a full sister to Group Three winner Seto Flowerian, who went to stud in Japan where she produced the stakes-winner Fusaichi Junk.

Yarraman Park will present a cracking draft of 25 yearlings at the 2009 Magic Millions Yearling Sale including two outstanding colts by Redoute’s Choice from Twist My Heart (USA) and Swept Overboard.
