Kembla, August 7 – The Ratings 75 event over 1600 metres at the metro meeting at Kembla on Wednesday was won in good style by the Gai Waterhouse trained Lorne Dancer, a $70,000 Inglis Classic purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park.
An improving type by Danehill Dancer (IRE), Lorne Dancer gave plenty over the concluding stages to win by more than a length in taking his record to three wins and three placings from eight starts with prizemoney just shy of $60,000.
Bred at Yarraman Park, Lorne Dancer is from stakes-placed Seattle Dancer (USA) mare Fabled, who produced a Foreplay colt last spring and is due to foal to Magic Albert.
